Skateboarding, workshops, tattoos and art – welcome to the House of Vans

…shaped the lifestyle of many skaters in recent decades, but also that of a whole generation. And why that is the case was proved once more in the House of Vans Berlin Pop-up.
The program included workshops with the girls from the Vans Pro team as well as a best-trick contest, talks, workshops, music acts and art. In addition to local creative labels, the HHV Shop and Radio Skateboards presented themselves on the street market. And if that was not enough, the guests stayed for the party and danced the night with Leoniden, Drunken Masters, DJ Craft, Octavian and Nothing but Thieves.
This year it was particularly important for the organizers to show that skateboarding is no longer dominated by men. That’s why the Off the Wall campaign also kicked off with four women from the Vans Pro team who talked about how style, individuality and creativity have an influence on skateboarding.
In addition to two fixed venues in Brooklyn and London, the House of VANS takes place in changing locations worldwide.
